SOUS CHEF
Responsibilities
Assist Chef for dinners every other Friday 12-10p. Prep Day is Thursday 9-5p.
Maintain a positive work culture. Be a leader, be professional at all times.
Maintaining a tidy and composed Supper Club kitchen area meeting licking county health dept code and follow the RRs closing SOP for supper club. Keep walkin and dry stock area organized weekly.
Lead ordering food inventory for the weekly fundamental list of ingredients. Assist in all other ordering.
Support outside chefs coming in with ordering, staffing, sourcing, cleaning, prep, etc.
Skills Required
Proven work experience as a kitchen manager, AKM, restaurant manager, chef or sous.
Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
Open mind
Occasional flexibility to work during evenings and weekends for pop ups. Plenty of notice.
Certification in ServSafe, this is required from your own resources.
Ability to stay positive. Abilty to think outside the box in the culinary sense, ability to get creative.
Knowledge of some fundamentals of professional cooking.
Compensation and Hours
15 to 18 hours every other week
$23 per hour paid on a 1099 tax arrangement. Every other week.
